The automation

Six Make modules. One Monday morning Slack message.

Each module runs automatically on Monday at 9 AM. Together they pull Stripe and Notion counters, normalize the data, and post a tidy Markdown summary to your #metrics channel — without anyone opening a dashboard.

Make
Step 1
Monday 09:00 trigger fires

A Make scheduler kicks the scenario off every Monday at 9:00 AM (configurable timezone). The rest of the chain runs automatically — no one has to remember to look at it.

Triggers on cron — every Monday at 09:00

Stripe
Step 2
Pull Stripe charges from the last 7 days

Make calls the Stripe Charges API with a `created[gte]` filter set to seven days ago, returning up to 100 paid and refunded charges. The same request gives the total revenue figure and the count of paid invoices for the week.

Runs immediately after the trigger

Notion
Step 3
Query the Notion CRM for new leads this week

Make posts to the Notion Databases Query endpoint with a date filter on the Created property, returning every lead added since this time last Monday. The result count is the headline number for the metric message.

Runs alongside the Stripe call — same cycle

Stripe
Step 4
Capture the paid-invoice count from Stripe

A second Stripe call filters charges by `status=succeeded` and counts them — the cleanest source for "how many invoices cleared this week". A quick sum of `amount` gives the revenue number that gets posted to Slack.

Runs in parallel with the Notion query

Make
Step 5
Roll the three counters into one row

A Make aggregator merges the revenue figure, paid-invoice count, and new-lead count into a single keyed object — week_start, revenue_cents, currency, charges_count, new_leads, invoices_paid. The aggregator normalizes the data so the Slack step has one tidy bundle.

Happens in the same cycle as the data pulls

Slack
Step 6
Post the formatted Markdown summary to #metrics

Make builds a Slack message with emoji-headed sections (💰 Revenue, 🧾 Invoices paid, 📥 New leads), formats cents to a human-readable figure, and posts it to your `#metrics` channel. Anyone subscribed gets the Monday morning pulse without opening a dashboard.

Fires immediately after the aggregator completes

Pairs well with…

Every Purrly template ships as the same Make + companion-app pattern. Build the rest of your stack with the same one-time-purchase blueprint model.

The per-lead write side of this template — every form submission becomes a structured Notion row ready for the weekly lead count.

Invoice Follow-up Sequence
Stripe + Mailchimp

Pairs with the paid-invoice counter — same Stripe webhook shape, but also runs the 3/7/14-day reminder cascade for overdue invoices.

Slack-native counterpart — daily stand-ups collected into a Slack channel and rolled up to a Friday recap on the same channel layout.

The top-of-funnel engine that the new-leads counter tallies up — a 4-email automation that turns subscribers into buyers.

Client Onboarding Flow
Make + Notion + DocuSign

Hand off a freshly-struck lead into a fully-wired onboarding pipeline — welcome email, intake form, contract, and Notion workspace ready.

A Notion-native Make blueprint that turns a new project brief into a row on a status board ready to scan — project-heavy teams run this alongside the metrics pulse.
